Title: C.T. Studd—In the Heart of Africa
Speaker: Norman Grubb
CD: Three discs.
This captivating account of the founding, collapsing and rebuilding of the Worldwide Evangelization Crusade (formerly Heart of Africa Mission) tells of the price paid by it's founder, C.T. Studd, to bring the Gospel to the world.
Norman Grubb, Studd's son-in-law, provides such insight into this radical man
of God. Studd truly burned for Jesus. With his passion came actions which were misinterpreted by some. Not only did he
sacrifice great wealth and fame, but his reputation and many
friends along the way. Still, he remained faithful; his heart cry
became their mission statement: "If Jesus Christ be God and
died for me, no sacrifice is too great for me to make for Him."
Norman and his wife, Pauline, took up their commission to
continue what Studd began—rebuilding the WEC when all looked hopeless. By applying faith lessons learned from Norman's close friend, Rees Howells, this commission was fulfilled.
Our collection of CDs are digitized versions of tape recordings of Norman Grubb as he taught in private homes and similar small-group settings over 20 years ago. Although the sound quality may at times be less than ideal, we believe the listener will greatly benefit from hearing Norman share his understanding and experience of what God revealed to him as the Total Truth.
